Villagers reported that on May 17, around 35 families (approximately 200 people) were told they would not be allowed to access water because they had not supported the BJP in the recent Panchayat elections.

On May 18 and 19, women from the affected area were forced to walk nearly 1 kilometer through hilly terrain in extreme summer heat to fetch drinking water. The situation caused severe inconvenience, especially for children and elderly residents.
